  1. All Arizona people that I know drink bottled water.

    Trans is good.

Just as safe as any other town.

The closer you are to ASU the higher the crime rate.

Also the area around Jen Tilly Lane.

The Light Rail is not running yet.

These Arizona people do not know what is going on in there own town!

Anyone who likes this heat must be on crack!

The sun has baked their brains.

    Glendale is full of crime.

    Illegals also!

    On the news every night!

Chandler has a guy who is raping women on their own porch!

No town down here is "safe" or worse then another!

  2. It is very very very hot. You have to have lots of water here. There is a new light rail system(not sure exactly where it is) that is good and any other transit is good. Safety isnt as good as like Glendale and Northern Phoenix but its not bad. The more south you go you more crime you get and more unsafe.

  3. dont come.

    its hot and disgusting

    pretty safe

    nice schools :)

  4. You need to know that it is a college town, good bus system, most areas are pretty safe, some areas are very sketchy.

  5. prepare for hot heat ( it feels like getting into a parked car in the sun )

    but i like it

  6. don't do it!!

consider surrounding cities instead (like scottsdale, awahtukee, gilbert, or chandler-where I live).

I lived in Tempe on and off for about 4 years and I hated it both times I lived there. the first time I was in a townhouse about 20 mins south of ASU and my area was filled with college kids who did nothing but party and vanadlize the area!! my townhouse was across from the pool and numerous times late at night i'd have to call the police for noise, fights, or beer bottles being thrown. I had 2 small children (have 3 now) and one time, some drunk jerk almost broke my then 2 year old daughter's window and tried to kick down my front door at 2am b/c he swore my house was his buddies and he thought his friend wasn't letting him in the house on purpose. it was terrifying and annoying-he was arrested.

the second time I live in an apartment even further south of the college but still had the same issue. every weekend there was some apartment having a wild, drunken college party. cars were being broken into quite often as well.

I love my neighborhood where I live in Chandler. it's quiet, safe (i've never even seen a cop car near my house for anything), and I know everyone living around me. although i'm in a house, my friend lives in an apartment about 2 mins away from me with her two little girls and her place is just like mine-quiet and safe.

public trans isn't so bad here once you get used to it (so i've heard-never use it due to needing my car w/my 3 kids).

NEVER drink the tap water here. I always use bottled and I have a reverse osmosis system in my house to filter the water we cook with and use in our freezer and fridge.

    hope this helps!!

  7. we only drink bottled water here in the phoenix metro.

transportation is. there is the light rail that runs throughout the whol cite and there is also a bus system,

it is 1 of the safest cities in the phoenix metro. it is right next to phoenix. there is lots to do.
