  1. The nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate can answer the 'how' questions.  I hope you're successful and leave soon.

  2. Scarecrow needs a brain to move from USA to Russia.

And if you didn't win the lottery and are not proficient in Russian language, don't go.

  3. I'll refrain on my opinion of the wisdom of your wish and try to lay down some facts. First, if you are an American that wants Russian citizenship, you will have to give up your American citizenship, even though the opposite is not true. Russia recognizes dual citizenship with very few countries, primarily CIS countries (former soviet countries) and the US isn't one of them.

The advice given concerning going on a Russian tourist visa and then looking for a job and extending your tourist visa is not accurate. You cannot work on a tourist visa, a tourist visa is good for a max of 30 days and cannot be extended. Even on a business visa you can stay no more than 90 days, then you must return to your home country for 90 days before you can return.

You also didn't address whether or not you can speak Russian, which is required for Russian citizenship.

You mentioned that you are still in high school. What benefit would Russia be receiving from granting citizenship to someone without a higher education. You know, getting citizenship in a different country is not so easy and maybe you need to wait another ten years or so to make such a decision.

  4. A psychological examination.

  5. Hi there, Moving to russia is fairly easy for americans. First, I would obtain a tourist visa, which is good for 30 days. You can apply for that via any russian consulate in the US. After your arrival in Russia, I would search for a business to work for or you can still extend the length of your stay.  I have written down the links below for your information. You can keep both passports for Russia and the US...

    Good luck

  6. Apparently you have not studied much about living and working in Russia. Please learn what you are getting in to before you make a big mistake

  7. Check with Russian embassy. They should have a contact email option. goodluck !

  8. Please we beg you to go because the Russian population is declining rapidly and you may be the only hope to add more people when you have kids.

  9. I think what you'd need first is psychotherapy. Do you have any idea of what Russia is like and what the standard of living is in Russia.

Have you any idea of how a police state works? You will l learn.

If you truly want to do this you will have to give up your US citizenship and request Russian citizenship. You cannot have dual citizenship. Keep in mind that if you do this there is an excellent chance that you will never be allowed to return to the US and you may not be really welcome in Russia either.

Change your name to Philip Nolan.

  10. lots and lots of money!
