  1. This should probably be in zoology but I'll answer that since I am a biologist.

First you need land.  Not just any land but land in a good location, and close enough to a population center to get people to visit.

Second you need money, lots of it.  Some of your animals will costs many tens of thousands of dollars to buy.  In addition feeding some with their specialized diets will be extremely expensive.  Also you will need some designers that know enough about the animals abilities that they can build enclosures close to their natural habitat that are escape proof.  St. Louis made a mistake on their River's Edge exhibit and a cheetah escaped.

Third you will need a complete crew that knows the animals quite well and can deal with them.  Watch the biologists right out of college.  They may know the theories but not a handful in the entire country actually has a great deal of experience with handling large animals.

Fourth you will need federal and probably state permits.

Fifth the animals and the facilities to feed them (typically hydroponic greenhouses)

  2. Seriously..? .. What i can say is that.. You should have the finance in keeping them active and you shpould always give them time to play.... And take care of them.. show them love and keep them safe.

  3. You'll need hundreds of thousands of dollars, days and days, permits, space... it's great that you want to help but that's not going to happen. How about working at a zoo that's already made, or adopting a homeless cat or dog with nobody to love it

  4. Forget the "opening your own zoo" thing.  That entails a huge amount of knowledge, expense and responsibility.  Try getting more education in animal science and care.  Also try working at a zoo and seeing what it involves.

  5. Just because you love to work with animals, that doesn't mean your ready to open up your own zoo. It takes thousands and thousands of dollars, TONS of research, not to mention a lisence to keep wild animals. Why don't you adopt a pet from an animal shelter or the pound or something instead. That would be way better, or you could work at a zoo instead.. a zoo thats already made.
