  1. Depends on the type of business you should consider

1.Does the city permit you to operate business from the premises. Consult zoning and building departments at the city hall.

    2. get vendors license from the city

    3. Get PST number from the province, and

    4. get GST number from the Federal Government

  2. lol... financial support from government, where did u get his idea? Only financial support u get is from the bank, and u will pay interest. Im guessing around 100,000. My uncle opened a few franchises before in Victoria

  3. The cost of a Tim Horton's franchise in Toronto proper would probably be around $450,000.00

but if the location you choose is good they may charge you more.

The company selling the franchises will help with the financing to a point but you'd better had a really BIG down payment. I guessing in the order of a quarter million minimum......and really good credit. yada yada yada - go here to lean about opening a Timmy's   http://www.timhortons.com/en/franchise/f...

  4. if you want to open a franchise you best bet is the franchise holder itself.

they often have agreement with financial business to help you get the money. they are your starting point. but you absolutly need some money on your hand to get financing or be a really swift talker.

but forget these ugly donuts... open a quiznoz they kick subway ***. much less hasle then donuts.
