what cable do i need to buy so that i can link my PC to my TV?

Depends on the connections on your pc and TV. You may need 2 seperate cables - one to transfer the picture and one or the sound.

Go into a local pc shop with the model names of your computer and tv and they'll be able to give you exactly what you need.

I went in to one not that long ago for a cable for the same thing and it only cost a fiver but that doesnt transfer sound.

The best way would be to use a VGA cable or if you have a modern TV and a good Graphics card which has a hdmi out then you could use a hdmi cable witch will give you full HD (1920x1080p) if your TV supports it.

If your computer was made in the last two years it will either be a VGA or dvi cable.  for sound you will need a microphone jack to a red and white stereo adapter.
