  1. im 12 and been playin for 3 years and shoot in the low 80s high 70s. i am big for my size though but it dosent matter. in tournaments i play theres a kid thats 13 but hes 5'5 but he has the same swing everytime. hes always consistent. the biggest thing to work on besides ur short game is hitting greens. thats what he does well and then his short game comes in and will get birdie or par. its never about heighth or size its just halving a good swing and playing smart. so just practice as much as u can. usually if i want to work on my swing i want to go to the course and work on it but i go to the driving range and hit 3 buckets of what im trying to do with my swing.  hope this helps.

  2. Yes, you should be good enough. Don't worry about your size, I am an undersized 15 year old as well and my handicap is 5, so don't let your size dscourage you. I think you will have no problem making the team, but it would better if you could get more consistent.

  3. to get better you need to hit 1,000 ball a day, every day. play some but practice all of the time. to make the team, if you shoot in the 80s you should make it. a lot of people can shoot a good nine but it takes 18 good holes to make a full round. don't let your size worry you. it takes a repeatable swing to make you a good golfer, that's why it takes hitting so many balls to groove your swing. if you can't hit 1,000- hit as many as you can. every pitch and chip count! you'll do fine if you are committed to improving!

  4. the first thing I would suggest you to do is to talk to the golf coach and see what is his/her requirement to make the golf team. I know there is a limit number of players on the team. do that first and work on your game, spend time at the driving range and on the putting green. good luck..

  5. It sounds like you are on the right track. Keep on practicing everyday and try to do most of your practice on the golf course if you can, it will help heaps with the scores. Good Luck with the team.

    Have a good one...

  6. im 13 and i can score in the 80's i think u have a chace man...just work on your 3-5 foot putts *i already get some yips sometimes b/c i play on poe and try 2 jam things in* work on wedges *they save me on my worst days* hit your irons consistant *even trevino style is ok lol* driver...STRAIGHT *heck i hit it 220 when i broke 90 4 the 1st time lol*

and i still use a 11.5 degree hibore vjay got rid of it b/c he hit it 2 straight xD

  7. Your size makes no difference.  Lack of consistency might be a sign of a flaw in your swing.  I'm not saying your not good enough or that you have a bad swing.  It could be just a minor adjustment needed.  Practice is the key.  And its all about fundamentals and playing loose.  Confidence and visualizing a good shot can help.
