i read you should put foam under the tank

how do i do this

it's called eggcrate from harware stores. it support's your rock's sitting uneven causing pressure point's. it helps spread the weight evenly. so you don't come home to a soaked living room

if your talking about under the glass on the base, use polystyrene ceiling tiles, you can get them from any diy store and there dirt cheap
