I think you may get more answers if you relocate your question to another area--you're in languages now.

I don't think you talk someone into it--how would you like it if *you* knew you weren't ready for motherhood and he kept pressuring you?  All you're going to do is make the guy feel trapped, and then he'll bail.  And why would you want a baby to have a father who didn't really want him or her?  That's a lousy thing to do to a kid.  And no, he's not just going to "come around once the baby's born".

Just because something might be right for an individual doesn't mean it's right for the couple.  

No means no in this case, too!
