  1. The insurance on the vehicle.  You are allowed to drive anyones car as long as that car has insurance.  If the car did not have insurance, you are liable.  Your insurance card for your car isn't going to do c**p for good if you get in an accident in your friends car....

  2. My suggestion is trying to get as much resource as you can before making final decision, here is a good one.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  3. the first answerer is totally wrong.  second one is right.  you insure a car, not a person. so, you would provide proof of insurance for that car.  notice on the card it indicates the make and model of the vehicle.  your insurance will do nothing for you in somone else's car.

  4. this is not a real answer cuz i dont know but.. do wat they did in the movie desperation if you have ever seen it

  5. You show YOUR insurance.  the insurance is generally for the person.   You car insurance should cover you in other (including rental) cars.

  6. Insurance follows the vehicle and not the driver. This way an insurance company can minimize any risk of a loss. A select few carriers will provide "Broad Coverage" allowing their drivers to drive other vehicles. But, still in that case the primary insurance will be on the vehicle first.

Therefore, when you are driving someone else's vehicle, you will need to show that the vehicle is insured by showing your sister's insurance card. In the event of an accident, the claim handling will verify if you were properly covered at the time of the loss.
