I have a new Divinci Dv-208 reciever and it does not have a coax imput which is what i was planning to use to carry my 5.1 signal. Instead of the dig. imput there are 5 AC-3 imputs for DTS. What are these and how do i get my signal from my source into my reciever. Right now when i just use the standard audio cables it delivers Stereo sound to all 5 speakers and uses the sub which is a start but its far from surround. Please Help

  1. Return it. The piece of c**p you got from some scam artist on Ebay is total junk. Any receiver should have at the very least 2 coax and 2 optical inputs for digital audio. A receiver without these inputs can not successfully do the job that a receiver is supposed to do. Ideally your receiver should have an HDMI input but admittedly you will not get that in your price range. However, even my old Sony (which can not do TrueHD, DTS-HD, nor does it have HDMI inputs) has more inputs than that. Sorry to be the barer of bad news but the Divinci you bought is not worth the cost of the box it came in. If you can return it do so and get a real receiver. Amazon.com is a good place to start. If something is too good to be true it usually isn't. And the quoted price with those specs is too good to be true.

  2. DiVinci is one of about 30 "White Van Scam" systems sold out of the back of trucks at gas stations and parking lots. They are c**p systems with fancy labels and even a website listing fake reviews and honors.

So I'm sorry, but trying to rig something up to this system is not worth it.

  3. The system you have has no processing in it!!!

It is a white van scam unit. Try to return it as you will need lots of other equipment to make it work right.
