What do jobs look for in backround checks?

I got fired from a job last year and i was wondering that if I applied for a new job would they see that I got fired whether i told them or not. What yall think?

They might want to call your old companies.... There a small business groups that provide this service for a living.. they find out all the details for the company and in turn tell the recruiter.... dont lie, it will could back fire!
