  1. Have you found a baby robin or just interested to know what their parents feed them?  If you have found a baby bird, please follow these instructions:

If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.  If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest.  Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.  Look for a rehab here:

  2. Umm well their mom will swallow food and digest it then throw it back up into the baby bird's mouth! Like worms??

  3. Try getting some regular sliced bread and mixing it with water, so it's almost a liquid. Give the bread liquid to it in a small baby (animal friendly) bottle. You can get one at pet stores I believe.

  4. Insect diet from parents. Earthworms, others. If you have a baby robin the best chance it has is to be put back with the parent birds. If you know where the nest is but cannot get to it build a makeshift nest out of a strawberry container. Put some tissue in there for warmth and try to place as close to nest as possible. Make sure it is under tree branches or some type of cover. Then watch to see if the parents return to feed it. You have to hide if they see they will not come. If they do not return in hour or so this little bird needs to be taken to wildlife rehabber in your area. Until you can get it there it has to be kept warm. A makeshift nest in a box with a heating pad under it set on low. It must be fed every 20 mins from 6am till 6pm. I would get earthworms and cut into very tiny pieces and feed it. Make sure it is warm before you feed. Then I would get a high protein dog or kitten food and soak in water until  very soft and place pieces of that in back of mouth. Do not give any water. They get fluids from food. You can also try mealworms but crush their heads before feeding to bird. I hope this helped just a little.

  5. Robbin food

  6. Vomit from there mother Really from worms already eaten

  7. mushed up worms from they're mom's mouth

  8. The babies need protein and a lot of it..... What I do is I get some dry Cat food, Grind it up in a blinder. then I mix it with warm water about 105 degrees f (it must be warm but not to hot or you will burn them) to the constance on Apple Suace. Then every two hours you need to feed them this, about 10% of their body weight (weigh them ever 24 hours).. The baby robin shoud weigh about 30 to 40 grams so you give them about 3 to 4 cc every 2 hours for the first week, then it would be about every 4 for the next 5 days then you should go to 4 times a day.

  9. Go to a pet store.

Tell them you have a baby bird that has hatched and you need suplyse to feed it.

They should have given you a powder that you add water to and then heat up(theres instructions on it).

To feed it get an eye dropper and feed it with that.

While feeding make sure you dont over feed and or feed the food to hot or to cold(cold gets stuck in its throught!)

Im not sure how much a robin eats but most birds eat every 4 hours.

  10. worms

  11. They eat worms?
