  1. IDK

  2. all libraries are different, call your local one and ask.

  3. I think they archive back issues. Unless they decide to stop a subscription to it, then they might give them away.

  4. the library i go to lets you borrow the older magazines up to 2 years old....they might throw out ones that are older

  5. they recycle them or donate them to places like Salvation Army. You would have to talk to the head librarian to see if they would give you any.

  6. sell them?????

  7. yes i think theyn would because they are usually thrown out!

  8. Well there's different kind of schools my school usually gives them to other schools or donate them.

And don't be shy ask maybe there nice to let you have it or borrow or they probably give you a copy. Hope I helped!!!

  9. Depends on the kind of library you're going to . At public school libraries, we keep magazines for 4 years. At the end of this year, we will destroy or give away the 2004 magazines. These are offered to teachers to use for classroom projects. The reason we keep them so long is because other libraries may request a particular article for review and we will allow them to borrow the magazine through the BCIU (Access PA). The only one we keep forever is National Geographic. Fabulous magazine and we get requests for articles way back to 1976 and before!

If you go to a public (community) library, I would ask how long they keep the magazines on file and what they do with them when they decide to get rid of a particular year. Also ask if you could borrow (check out) old issues just as you do the current issues and books in the library. I wouldn't be surprised if you could borrow old issues as well.
