  1. I'm not a liberal (I prefer progressive Republican) but I have the distinct impression that a lot of them would go back to driving a taxi.

    I am disturbed by the possibility that most if not all of the "high value" prisoners from Iraq and Iran are in Eastern Europe or the middle East, being treated really poorly.


  2. I believe you may be over-simplifying things a bit. People on the left only believe that the Gitmo prisoners deserve a day in court. Why shouldn't they have one?

  3. the united states constitution guarantees the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a properly constituted court of law. would you rather live in burma or zimbabwe where there is no such guarantee?

    I don't remember another n**i invasion after Nuremberg... do you?
