  1. E-1 is like less then 300 a month. I don't believe the reserves give bonuses. You would have already been offered one if you had qualified.

  2. I think my brother makes around $300.00 on his reserve weekends....Since he has been activated though, he now makes $3400. per month.  My father however retired as a Colonel and was making close to 6 figures. Joining the military will not make you rich, it does however look good on a resume.  It is also the most honorable job there is!  If you do join, then let me thank you in advance for sacrificing your time for this country!

  3. You've already joined and you don't know what you're getting paid? Ask your recruiter.

  4. if you're joining for money the Marines don't wanna waste you're time.

  5. Here is a good calculator to help you out.  Typically one drill weekend is four drill periods.

No, there are no bonuses for helping out at the recruiting station, other than promotion or promotion points for finding people to join.  There are many opportunities to temporarily going Active Reserves for a few months to a year to get you some extra money.
