What do marines do? ?

my cousins just came back from the Canadian forces

a few months ago, and i guess now he's going into the marines.

i don't get to talk to him as much as i wish to, so i was just wondering

if anyone knows what the do exactly?

Well they all have to learn trades I think, but basically they KILL things.

They fight for the United States of America. They fight for every man and women in this country and every thought they have. They will do whatever it takes for there country, including sacrafice there life.

they are people that are proud of this nation and will do anything for it.

They are a military force. Sent in to use military strategies to help others. They go in in times of War, so yes there are killings.

Marines are the quickest deployable force and are the most versatile and small branch of the united states military. They have jets, tanks, infantry, artillery and everything else a branch needs. pretty much the first in last out and a marine can be anything from a sniper to an air traffic controller, and every marine is a rifleman.
