  1. it shows swelling and bruising inside and outside of a bone in your ankle, the talus bone

    There is no fracture.

Talar is in reference to the talus bone http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topi...

posterior medial is on the inside part of your ankle toward the back on the talus bone

It should heal on it's own.  It may be sore for a week or 2

  2. Well, I went online to look it up. It seems that the injure caused to your bone was spontaneous or non traumatic. The contusion means bruised. So, put that together and you got a bruised bone and no serious injuries.

  3. It means your ankle is bruised.  A contusion is a fancy name for a bruise.  Marrow edema is just swelling, a common side-effect of a contusion.  Posterior medial talar body is the rear part of the middle of your tibia, one of the lower leg bones.
