  1. My granddaughter Jayde, says to have a field day. Set up several games. Relay races, tug of war, 3legged races, etc. Pick teams or singles. The winners get a treat. Pick the next days music or lead a class, etc. Art classes are something she loves.

Choice Day....pick what center you want in groups of 5 for set time limits. A center for Karaoke, a board game group..winners play offs. The homework center is something she says is great, but it should have no time limit and a quiet place for reading also.

    Good luck.........

  2. baseball, football, skating, movies, video games, computers

  3. hides and seek.

  4. If I were u, I would rent a bouncer from Ace Rentals. I would also have them all paint a mural. Teamwork and creativity!

  5. computers, career centers, such as a doctors office with real equipment , a shop with tools and a old car and old car parts, a classroom with chalkboard and books etc,I could go on.my favorite in high school was child care my school had about 6 preschool age kids for us to tend to like a real daycare would do.

  6. buy a rainbow playset. get a bigger one because kids LOVE them! paint a mural with the kids for creativeness. For social, go on some filedtrips and let the kids meet new people.

emotional: let the kids spend time with you and buy some american girl dolls for the girls just to play with and see how they play NOT BARBIES

for boys let them run aoround and but them transformers or legos.

  7. uhmm how bout a moon bounce and like crafts

  8. how many children?

There's loads of great wide games

'capture the flag' style (teachers leadership skills and teamwork

predator prey is awesome to explain the Eco system.

    Initiative exercises (physical)

    - for instance tie a whistle to a tree

explain that one of the members of the group (5-10children)

must blow the whistle and give them a reasonable time frame to complete the task.

any activity where they have to use there own creativeness to accomplish the tasks gets them all bickering to show off which is an excellent opportunity to show the consequences of teamwork (social skills).

take a look at wide games on the Internet

scout sights - brownies are some good places to get ideas

When looking at suggested games and there age groups go in with the understanding that children like to do well

Sometimes the game under there age level is more appropriate especially if you want to develop social skills ...

You want them to have some mental space to deal with there peers.
