What do other people think about Arkansas?

I was just curious to see what others think about Arkansas?I know a lot of my friends in the other states i have moved to, think that we are Redneck , Hillbilly, cousin marrying hicks ( which they do say jokingly).What do you think?

To be honest I really dont think about Arkansas. But if I had to guess I just see wheat fields and farmers.

As it happens, I live in Arkansas, about 20 miles north of Conway.

The natives are, generally, street-wise, but poorly educated and have a propensity to be crazed baptists, and will, for the most part, strap dynamite to their bodies for their faith.

Yes, most Arkansans are thick and stupid red-necks, but I love em.

Arkansas has beautiful scenery from the northwest to the southeast on the north side of the interstate. fabulous lakes and trees. the road system is behind most of the nation. the population is small for its size compared to the northeast and as a result, it has a large rural population. there are many interesting social preferences that differ from those who live in cities (rather than small towns). while a lot of people joke about the hillbilly, redneck, inbreeding ways, they are serious about the belief. this is because anywhere in the world, it is true that people who live very far removed from a larger society,  have backward and questionable practices. since it is true that arkansas' only large towns and cities are on the interstate (40 i believe) most of the state is rural. thus, the generalization. the same is said about east texas (where i'm from) and Louisiana as well as farther east in the south. but make no mistake, it is true in ANY rural area too far from a larger town or city to have an influence over the customs and practices of the rural area.

The first 3 words that would come to mind are redneck ,stupid and retarded. Off coarse I don't really know anything about Arkansas or anyone from there so this is just word association.
