  1. It varies from person to person. Breakfast for me is normally a cup of tea or coffee and a ham and butter sandwich. It's difficult to eat  a lot early in the morning, but some people do enjoy big breakfasts. For lunch, I have a Cornish pasty, steak and Guinness variety, or if I have food from the previous night, I'll eat that. If short on time, fruit. For dinner, usually soup. I've never been a fan of chicken, so that's substituted with duck or lamb. But really, as I said before, it varies from person to person.

  2. Do you really think France is another Planet ?

For sure French people don't eat fast food every day, don't eat pop corn every day, don't drink pops all day long and they are able to prepare their breakfast and their coffee, then they don't stop at Dunkin' Donuts (or similar) every morning!

  3. To begin with the fact is that the French don't eat things that are all that differently than Americans (or Brits) and if you had a meal in France you'd be familiar with almost all of the ingredients in what you were eating and you'd find the ways of preparing food essentially the same. So don't expect anything too startling to report.

The French tend to eat very lightly in the morning. Traditionally breakfast would be a cup of Cafe au Lait (just coffee with equal amounts of milk) and a piece of bread or a croissant. Youghurt or fruit juice is also popular at breakfast.

As in many countries, the noonday meal was once the largest meal of the day but modern life has changed that for many people and American style fast food is increasingly popular.   McDonald’s is everywhere as is its French competitor called "Quick." Another popular chain is Flunch. check out their website: http://www.flunch.fr/Flunch/Flunch_Bienv...

Evening meals tend to go to three course, these being the entree (first course), plat (main course) and dessert. Cheese is often eaten instead of dessert. Wine is almost universally the drink with both lunch and dinner. The French eat dinner much later than Americans or Brits with 7:30-8:00 often being the start of the dinner hour.
