What do people around the world think of New Zealand?

Question

New Zealand is a small country in the pasific with a population of arond 4,200,000. Despite it's location its considered a first world country, and part of the OECD.

I live in New Zealand and would be interested to know how people in other countries see it. Have you even heard of New Zealand? What do you know, or think about it?

I've always wanted to visit New Zealand. I've seen pictures, and heard a lot about it. It's so beautiful there.

it is also the place where Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia were filmed. And those are some of my favorite movies, well LOTR is, Narnia is ok

I live here in New Zealand too.

Tiny village on the coast. North Island.

I'm English and I moved here 12 years ago after falling for a local :)

I also fell in love with this magical place. The scenery is like nowhere else on Earth ( well, I could compare it with the Highlands of Scotland-another place close to my heart ) The people are so friendly and helpful and their attitude to life in general is great.

I love New Zealand and wild horses couldn't drag me away from here now!

I have never been but i had a dream once and in my dream i saw beautiful beaches.Ever since i have wanted to visit. I lived there in my dream in a small village and i want to see for myself if i can find it.

More sheep than people.  Nah, New Zealand is a great country but its colder than I'm used to and sort of isolated.  I know Matimati...and Hamilton....Tauranga...and Auckland...and Wellington....

I knew about New Zealand since I was little. it used to be my favorite island. but the only thing I know about it are those head statues.  I don't know a lot about it.

If rocket power in the episode they went to New Zealand is accurate there is also a sport competition there. but I am not sure about that. it was on a cartoon show when i was young

I think the people are normal.

I think the scenery is beautiful.

I think the nation is great.
