What do people do with their stuff when they surf by themselves (like keys)?

I've always wondered..

i live on a beach front house, i just ride my bike to the spot i want to surf at, but when people drive they hide their keys in a towel or backpack and put the towel/backpack on the beach

Keys and surfing - Where to stash them?

One place is inside your leash pocket.

A second place is tied to your trunks - inside pocket.

Another is some unobvious place on your car.

Is there an unobvious place? Probably not.......

Be creative because every answer has already been used.

Pray to the surf Gods to protect you.

Drive vehicles that speak volumes of your condition - POOR.

Rid yourself of surf racks and stickers.

Place dummy keys all around the car.

First, try not to surf (or do any water sports) by yourself :)  But your question still applies if both people are in the water, so...

I bring as few items as possible to the beach - just towel, clothes, and a cheap-o backpack with sunscreen and wax.  Nobody wants to steal my cheap-o car, so my keys are safe :) I usually leave them in the pocket of my cheap-o board shorts that nobody wants to steal, either.

they put it on the shore(sand) next to their umbrellas and towels and suntans and stuff.or their car is probly parkd by the beach so they probly leav it their. if their filming a surf video/or movie, thats not a problem cus the crews could like hold it for them or somthing

depends, when i surfed across the street from my house i just left my keys at home, but if i drove somewhere id either leave them under the floor mat, under the seat or in the tailpipe.  mind you where i go surfing i can drive on the beach.

in  my leash you can buy one that have a key place on the feet strap
