What do people have against Collingwood??

No seriously I'm not sticking up for them or anything but y are they seen as like iuno well y does alota people say stuff bout them.

I agree with swamp, its not the team or players themselves, its the collingwood supporters that tend to get other people to hate the name collingwood.

They can be on the bottom of the ladder and still be telling everyone about how much better their team is than anyone else's.  

haha its only because there are so many collingwood supporters that this happens, otherwise it happens with every club, but the odds are if you bump into somebody, they will support collingwood.

There are many thousands of cool supporters like ROGUE.. and there are feral supporters at all clubs don't worry about that .

People  are jealous of Collingwood , like in the finals "eliminating" the grand finalists of  05, 06 then missing the grand final by 5pts, against Geelong, in a year they introduced Bryan, Medhurst, Cox, Toovey, Clarke, d**k,Stanley , Reid , Goldsack, while regulars Buckley , Holland, Lonie ,Clement, Licuria had seasons interrupted by injury .   Then add to that list. 19 yo second year players Thomas Pendlebury and Cloke.   When other Clubs intro 9 new players they call it "team building" and drop to the bottom for early draft picks.    Collingwood provide for their supporters, something other Clubs simply can't do, and their supporters turn out for the players in large numbers , Collingwood have remained competitive "without draft pick handouts", its no wonder other opposition  supporters are jealous.    Seriously I hope you get it now !!

I dont know why people wont let us tell them how good we are. I have lots to tell opeople but they just wont listen to me.

I dont know why they dont like Collingwood because the club is easily the best and no other club or their fans come near us.

i like watching them play, they play good close games, i will admit it's funny when they lose, only because of their crowd, but they are on tv a lot so i have got to know their players more, they are ok.

Hey Ash, when I was a youngster like you I wondered that too. Then I moved to Melb and went to see Richmond v Collingwood at the G. The only time I've ever seen fights in the crowd and ridiculous one eyed fans, who would be happy to see opposition players get hurt. That changed me forever. Just the fact that they think they are the biggest and the best, and have to go on about it. Oh, and have you seen Joffa? That is reason enough.

Let me say that I admire Pies fans for their loyalty though. And they're not ALL bad. Look at Rogue, she's cool!

First of all It is not Collingwood we hate it is Collingwood fans! They think that they are better than everyone else. Secondly the money - Collingwood is the richest club in the league and always has a huge surplus while clubs like Nrth Melbourne and Bulldogs struggle to make ends meet each year.
