Young Australians love the night life and alot you'll find on the beach sun baking or surfing.

I traveled in the USA for 6 weeks last year and to me it seemed very same interests.I will say as most Australians live close to the coast,they would spent a lot of time swimming ,surfing etc.

The weather is much warmer here in most places than the USA,so we do allot more outdoors stuff in winter.

But the truth be known sorry to disappoint you,except for the different codes of sport here to follow( Rugby League,Australian Rules football,soccer,Cricket) not much,You name it we do it. Hope that helps
