  1. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and we ate Biscotti, Nutella on bread, Friattas, pepper and egg sandwiches, focaccia, cappuccino, espresso.

  2. It sounds like you went to a very good restaurant for buffet.

Right now with the price of fuel going up and up, people in other countries eats  little less.  Just like us here.  They have to make due.  There is still McDonald all over the world, but it is costly.  You have to survive to eat

  3. They eat kangaroo steak in Australia

  4. go and ask yourself

  5. One time while in a hotel serving free breakfast I was served "American Breakfast" which is nothing but coffee, toast and a little jam. That was nothing for a Filipino like me.

In my own country, the Philippines, we have a whole array for breakfast which is given with so many names like Tapsilog (beef, fried rice, and egg) Tocilog (fried rice, marinated pork and egg), Longsilog, Pansilog, Batilog, Pantylog, Kinalog, Kinabog, etc.

In other words, we really take much importance for breakfast.

  6. Well if you were raised in St. Lucia (part of the Caribbean) and you were raised in the countryside, you would most likely be having what we call bakes (basically dough flattened out and fried) filled with cheese/salted cod/herring and cocoa tea (sorta like hot chocolate but made from real cocoa, spices, and milk etc.) Other developed parts of St. Lucia are similar to what people in the US have, ie cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage etc. Hope that helps! :D

  7. In Bulgaria we eat for breakfast banitsa ( cottage cheese& full pastry) and boza ( it's a drink) or burek, pancakes, cous-cous or noodle with cottage cheese (and sugar for me).

  10. OK, you live in US and you usually eat cereal and wheat product for your breakfast. But, I live in Asia and I usually eat rice for my breakfast. You know, Asian people used to eat rice for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It might sound boring. But for me it is interesting and delicious. For my breakfast, I used to eat hot rice with some peanut oil, bit of salt and boiled bean. Sometime with toasted dried fish. Then, Lunch with more meat and dinner with less rice and more vegetable. If you come to Asia you can enjoy this breakfast. If you want Asian Recipe, you can get here http://cookadviser.blogspot.com

but ppl who dont really eat breakfast normally just get a coffee to go or yogurt or muslie or something
