  1. for petit dejeuner, the french have:

    juice

    milk

    coffe

    hot chocolate

    croissant

    jam

    butter

    bread

    brioche

    cereals

    honey

    nutella

that's all they have. they DO NOT have cheese, ham or sausages. The french breakfast is very simple, very sweet and not at all nutricious.....

  2. un cafe (espresso here) bread butter or croissant

  3. We eat café, butter and jam on baguette ( french bread), croissant, camembert ( french cheese), ham, eggs,

We have the best breakfast in the world.

  4. fruit, coffee, juice, croissants.

at least, that's all i ate when i was there.

i think i remember doing that project when i was in middle or high school. fun stuff.

  5. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, "chicorée".

Croissants, pains au chocolat, brioches or "tartines" of french bread with butter and marmelade.

    Orange juice.

    Newspaper and cigarettes!

  6. Breakfast is not a big meal in most parts of France. Often, just coffee and some kind of pastry (croissant, etc) or rolls with some jam and butter. Some juice, maybe, but that's about it!

(hence, the name "petit" in the name)

  7. Typically, adults have coffee, usally cafe au lait (coffee with a lot of milk)  and some bread and maybe a glass of juice.

The Anglo-American breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes and toast is not popular.

On a menu the typical french breakfast would be described something like this:

Corbeille de mini viennoiseries et pain à l’ancienne

Servie avec beurre, miel et confiture,

jus d’orange ou pamplemousse frais pressé,

    café, thé ou chocolat

  8. French Toast

  9. Bread with butter and jam, coffee, juice, and sometimes a yogurt.

  10. Forget the eggs, ham, sausages, bacon and eggs.

We do not eat that sort of thing at bkfst.

Normally we have cofee (with cold milk) or tea, juice (orange, grappefruit).

Sometimes a yougourth but not often.

Cereals is mostly for kids or teenagers. (well i'm not a kid anymore but i still have them sometimes when i feel like it or when i dieting)

And when we are not working on sunday or so, we have sometimes, croissant, or "viennoiseries" (danish croissant ...)

    (sorry no french toast )

Bread, with butter and ham, but i don't think it is all the time, in french except on holidays or during our days off, we don't take the time to have a proprer breakfast.

For exemple when i'm working i have a black coffee and...a cigarette...

  11. un croissant

    des cereales

    de la baguette

    du pain grille

    de la confiture

    du beurre

    un yaourt

  12. Generally - Bread, butter, jelly, coffee or tea

  13. croissant, or bread, a peice of cheese or sausage [if they are hungry also an egg] and coffee--the french do not eat a lot.
