What do people mean by "rotation work shift" ?

One week 7am-3pm. Next week 3pm-11pm. Next week 11pm-7pm...and so on.  

I worked a rotating shift before.  Really screws you up.  I hope you are making a ton of money for it!

Meaning it changes from a particular time , to working a different time, in some cases it can be from week to week that it changes, other times it can be two days morning hours and then your shift may change to afternoon to evening for the next two day, and then back to the beginning, so it depends on the job and what is required of you.
