  1. down to earth is synonymous with the word humble


  2. someone who can stop and smell the roses and enjoy doing so and appreciates that and understands why that is important.

  3. In my opinion it means that they are realistic about things, they have good morals, and they just basically have a good way of living their life. Like, it is really hard to explain now that I've been asked to!! I've never thought about it that much!!

    Its NOT literal!

    It means that someone has a clue what is going on the world and person who is NOT down to earth is basically stupid and has not clue what is going on.
