  2. In basic terms, it will shoot 1" groups at 100 yards.  This equates to 1/4" groups at 25 yards as it is 1/4 the distance and 2" groups at 200 yds as it is twice the distance.  

    Most scopes and calibrated adjustable iron sights are based on this measurement.  1/4 minute clicks on a scope will move your impact point 1/4" at 100 yards or 1/2" at 200 yards, or 1/16th inch at 25 yards.

  4. Minute of angle, 1/60 of a degree. That correlates to a group of slightly over an inch (generally rounded to an inch for convenience) at 100 yards. A lot of people will tout a 3-shot group of an inch at 100 yards. In a hunting rifle, I'd not trust a 3-shot group, but in medium bores I'll take a 1 1/2" ten-shot group. But then I'm over-educated, and my work demands some familiarity with statistics.
