I keep hearing people saying they're gonna vote for John McClaine because they vote the Bible.

How do they know that God would vote for McClaine?

Does God agree with Bush 90% of the time?

  1. I wish people would "vote the Bible" for their daily lives and live in such a way that Jesus' love would be evident to everyone.

  2. I would agree that "in theory" the Republican party "should" be in favor of things that are supported by Scripture, but most of the time, this is not the case. The Republicans can be just as much pro-abortion, pro-evolution, and pro-g*y as the Democrats!  I am a conservative Christian and I wouldn't vote for McCain any more than I would vote for Obama, because of this very problem. McCain is a moderate. There ARE no "conservative" candidates except for Ron Paul. I plan on voting for Ron Paul, even if I have to write him in.

  3. What they mean is vote with their "interpretation" of the Bible.  In other words, since they promote homophobia in the name of God, they insist that others vote for candidates that also believe homophobia is loving and moral.

Since Bush, I mean McCain supports homophobia and that makes them feel better about living actively in their sinful anti-g*y lifestyle, they will vote for him.  It's easier than renouncing their immorality.

  4. Wasn't it McClaine's bunch that prayed for bad weather to muck up the democrat's convention?

& God replied by giving the bad weather to McClaine's bunch.

If I were American & planning on voting with the bible; I'd probably vote the other way.

  5. It means to vote for the candidate that upholds the laws and standards of the Bible.  Someone who values life above abortion and is for marriage between one man and one woman.  Things of that nature.

  6. McCain had admitted to having numerous affairs while married to his first wife. I guess the part about committing adultery is omitted from their Bibles.

  7. Anyone who says that should have their voter registration shredded.

Irresponsible voting is worse than not voting at all.

  8. Lev 25:18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Pro 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people.
