  1. i'd rather know what Cindy McCain thinks of her, lol . . .

  2. Love her and love the choice.   6 million vote victory will be largest ever and that which John and sarah will win by.

  3. I live in alaska and she's been to my town and i love her!!! she knew her 5th baby would have down syndrome before it was born and she still decided to have it. and she is really into fixing up and extending the alaska pipeline which hopefully would make gas prices go down in the next 7-10 years:)

  4. So far, I like her. She has a great record, I just need to do a little more research on her before I feel confident.

  5. Zero federal experience.

    Nearly zero state experience.

Has betting odds on being President if McCain is elected.

May be under indictment for influence-peddling by the time the race is decided .

    McCain has totally lost it.

  6. She is an insult to women all over this country.  Not because she isn't a fine wife and mother, but because McCain thinks we are so stupid that we don't see through his need to have a patriarical role as President.  With whats-her-name from Alaska, he'll have the silent little Stepford V.P. at his side; looking pretty, not saying much, and not challenging him at all.  And frankly, any woman with a v****a would find that insulting.

He's chosen a woman who was the mayor of a town of 6,500.  She has been governor for 20 months.  Other than that, she's America's Sweetheart for sexist beauty pageants and soccer moms  who bake cookies all over the world.  She is not material that would run the country if McSame keels over at 70, which with his past history of illnesses isn't unlikely.

If this is supposed to woo Hillary supporters, he screwed up there too.  Women supported Hillary because she connected with Feminism on so many levels, not because she made a joke of it.  This woman is anti-choice, pro NRA, and when she didn't like the way the  Ethics Commission of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Committee handled her, she resigned, reporting that she felt her efforts to draw attention to misdeeds were largely ignored.  What will she do if it gets tough in the White House?  While she may be cozy with polar bears, she hasn't a clue what types of shrews she is about to see in the Congress and Senate...and that's only the men!

Even Condoleeza Rice would have been better than this one, because at least she would  know the lingo in Washington.  And while I'm no Condoleeza supporter, I could justify her as representing their side with dignity and being tough enough to handle the position..

This running mate is like watching McCain conduct a wet T shirt contest in front of the White House and believing he convinced us poor stupid women that he chose the best contestant based on her IQ.  And yes, it is insulting to all women!
