  1. Ooooh, don't you just love the antis? Have a super day guys won't you? ;)

It is wonderful for relaxation purposes. Enjoy!

  2. I highly recommend it as all my clients have been relaxed afterwards. I myself always massage my clients solar plexus area on the feet at the end as this gives them the feeling of weightlessness/floating and sends them into a feeling of complete calm and relaxation. Try it for yourself and enjoy!

  3. Reflexology is the act of stimulating the feet/hands for health benefits to corresponding organs and areas of the body. Tips of toes correspond with the brain, but I don't know why you think it'll make you relax. You need to chill out!

  4. there's also aromatherapy, hot stone therapy, holistic therapy, indian head massage . . . . .

i'd go for aromatherapy because the oil which is massaged into you is personalised with all sorts of things like whether you have any of these Stress

    Back and Joint Problems

    Anxiety/Depression

    Muscular Pain and Tension

    Insomnia

    Digestive Disorders

    Headaches and Migraines

    PMT/Menopause

    Some Skin Disorders

    and loads of things!

id research it to see which one you'll get the most benefit from! :D

  5. I'd recommend it, but am a reflexologist lol, seriously try it, its like a whole body detox

  6. It works well as a massage, but all the crystal rubbish is unproved.

    :D

  7. It  does HELP, A well know fact that most professionals can't acknowledge Inter connectivity of muscle tissue is in succession, so as you message your tips(so to speak) you  get realigned!

  8. it is very relaxing, of course dependong on a good practiotioner, I nearly fell asleep once! ask around for a good repuable practioner, word of mouth is best.

  9. Reflexology is based on an absurd theory and has not been demonstrated to influence the course of any illness. Done gently, reflexology is a form of foot massage that may help people relax temporarily. Whether that is worth $35 to $100 per session or is more effective than ordinary (noncommercial) foot massage is a matter of individual choice. Claims that reflexology is effective for diagnosing or treating disease should be ignored. Such claims could lead to delay of necessary medical care or to unnecessary medical testing of people who are worried about reflexology findings.

  10. lovely and relaxing, even if you don't believe in the theory behind it (each part of the foot directly relates to a part of the body)

I always left floating on clouds after my classes (we practised on each other.... heaven!)

  11. I believe it works! it all has to do with your pressure points and releasing accumulated tension. you should look into getting a book on it. i'd hit up amazon.com because they always have the best prices. It's made a difference in my life!

  12. My mum used to get reflexology and enjoyed it quite a bit. Doesn't hurt to try it.

  13. It is brilliant you should definitely go for it.Some NHS clinics do it.

  14. It's a complete crock.  Absolute, nonsensical garbage.  Even in the vast field of c**p that is alternative medicine reflexology stands out as one of the worst frauds in the medical world.

  15. If you like regular massages you will like reflexology.

I don't like massages and its wierd when people are touching me, so its the same with my feet.

But pretty much everyone else likes it.

the people who do it are all trained and proper too. they know what their doing with regard to pressure points. yes i would suggest trying it out. but i would also suggest getting your husband/kids or whoever to do it for you.
