We are in the process of buying a cafe/bar in Costa Blanca Spain. It is located near to several golf courses. We thought this name quite good, catchy too. Need your opinion tho too!

  1. I'VE WORKED IN THE GOLF BUSINESS FOR OVER TEN YEARS AND ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME. GREAT NAME BUT I'LL BET YOU ANYTHING AFTER YOUR OPEN FOR ABOUT A MONTH YOU'LL BE SO SICK OF PEOPLE BUTCHERING THE LINES FROM THE MOVIE IT WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS! I HEAR'EM EVERY SINGLE DAY IT GETS REALLY OLD.

  2. Excellent name congrats

  3. I know that there are xopyrights on that name here in the US I would check and make sure there are none in Spain.

  4. I think you can find a better name.  It isn't that original to just use the name of a famous golf movie.

  5. na na na na na na na na

    Great Movie

  6. love it.

Will keep an eye out next time i'm in over there.

  7. Great movie.  Sounds like a decent idea as long as there are no legal issues surrounding the name.

  8. It would definitely be an attention getter! I would double check to see if there are any copyrights still attached to the name (I work at the USPTO). Just go to www.uspto.gov and find the link to copyrights.

Good luck - my boyfriend and I both golf, and we would love it! Will you be using any "themed" deco from the movie?

  9. I like it! It would be great if you could get Bill Murray to come to the opening ceremony.

  10. You didn't like the other answers we provided?

You might have an ownership problem with that name though. I'm not sure how international law, concerning copyright infringement, works. Caddyshack is a highly marketed name.
