What do people use Earthworm for?

Besides fishing, what do people use earthworms for?

I heard that people use earthworms to make cream for make-up, is that true? O_O

Earthworms are used in vermicomposting too. That's where they have a pit filled with soil, organic waste (leaves, agricultural waste, etc) and water to keep it all moist, and put earthworms in. The worms eat the soil and waste, digest it and it comes out in their p**p all broken down into nutrients vital for plants. After about 2 months, the whole soil-waste mixture makes a good organic manure for plants.
