Fast seating great service and a clean invorment. Im a hostess and what I hate is when people are rude. "Seat us fast", Or "Why is it taking so long?" Hello people Its a restaurant. There might be only a few servers on at the certain time. You cant just keep seating servers over and over again you have to give them time so they get all the food right. If you keep double seating them it gets them overwhelmed and there not going to be able to give great service. People just need to be patient. These group of women came in one time and was like." I want sit some were where I can get my food fast. We dont lots of time." Well sorry if you want something fast then go to fast food. So just remember when you go to a restaurant put yourself in that hostess position. It gets stressful. We try to seat quickly.

Well, the whole purpose in going to a restaurant is because the parties involved want a break from dealing with a meal at home. Most important thing to me is the waitstaff, and how well they can keep up with the service that I want.

I like a nice air about the place, pleasent, nice food, and waiters who dont bother you every other min so they can rush you out and make more money on the next person.   I like having a waiter close by incase I need anything, but unless you see that my glass is empty or my plate is almost empty, you need to go away and let me enjoy my meal and my company.

the whole check on the customers needs every few seconds is a stupid idea, a good waiter can see if we need anything by how the table looks, IE an emply glass, plate, or the customer is actualy looking around the room for the waiter.  Until you see one of the signs stop annoying me or your tip is gonna suck and I might not come back.

*  The restaurant is clean

*  The food is great

*  The service is good (meaning courtesy, smiles, a good

Good service, nice atmosphere, but most of all to get their moneys' worth.  I work at an IHOP and I've had customers give me a good tip when food was unsatifactory but I was nice and professional about it and gave them several choices.or a refund.

hygiene and lights! hygiene is self explanatry but lights... we went to restaurant in india and we practiacly sat and ate in the dark, so good lighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and polite waiters of course
