what ever you want, unless it is just crazy, and if it is a tournament than you would wand to dress in dressy casual, but make sure it is construable, you don't want it to distract your game.

If your just playing at home or with a friend then whatever you usually wear but if it's for a competition they wear suits and ties.

Depends on where you go to play chess.  If you are just going to the park or another friends house than normal school clothes will do just fine.  If you are going to take part in a serious tournament you may want to consider something more formal.

Whatever you like if you are just playing with friends or family or in a cafe for example  But if you are playing in a tournament there will most likely be a dress code - could be anything from casual to practically black tie, depending on where you are.
