  1. I grew up with a guy who was born blind, and I would ask him that question. It was always really hard for him to explain. If it was bright enough, he said he could "see" light, but not really. I dunno....now thinking about it, it's hard for me to explain how HE explained it!!! But I think it is just dark. They have VERY good hearing though, because that is what they have always had to rely on.

Yeah, I think Justin is probably right. Porter, the guy I knew, was born with eyes, but was blind...if they have no eyes then they wouldn't see anything.

  2. Ok. Hold your hands under the table. Now try to see with your hands. You have no way of seeing what is under the table with your hands becuase they have never had eyes and can not see. A person who has lost their vision might see different things because of illness or injury to nerves that have left different nervous sensations, but, someine who has no eyes will see the same thing your hands saw when you held them under the table. Get it?

  3. They don't see anything.  It's the same as asking you what you see out of the back of your head, or your foot or your hand.  You see nothing out of those areas.  It's not black out of the back of your head, there's just nothing.

  4. They don't "see" anything. They have no vision at all, which means they don't see black. They see nothing at all.

  5. who is to say that people with eyes are blind and people with eyes can"t see.

  6. They can't see without eyes. However they can create their own personal image of the world around them by what they hear, feel, & smell.
