I always feel so bad for them just sitting in cages all day. I was just wondering what they do with them if nobody buys them.

  1. lower the price until someone buys them.

  2. They stay there until they're purchased. If the sales aren't high, then they will postpone ordering more until the sales increase.

If the animal has behavioral issues, they'll move them into the back, and basically put the animal up for adoption ''free to good home'' instead of for sale. ((This is how I got one of my male rats. Jigsaw - RIP)

  3. my sister used to work at a pet store when i was about 5 and she used to feel bad for the ones that didnt get taken home. i have asked her these questions before and she said that they either wait a little while until the animal gets sold so they dont get as much puppies coming in. or if the puppies really dont sell they give them to the rescue shelters.

my sister felt bad for one so thats why now we have a chihuahua mix.

  4. Garbage chute

  5. Rescue groups
