  1. I teach twos.  I usually wear jeans.  When I first started teaching at preschool level I wore what I wore for teaching Kindergarten and First Grade.  I soon found that it didn't work.

    Pre-school can be messy.

  2. A t-shirt and jeans, just what ever they feel like wearing

  3. They should wear chino style pants and a nice top that covers all the chest.

It depends on where your preschooler goes to school. Most public schools allow jeans and V-neck tops that show all when the teacher bends over.

Private schools usually ask all teachers to dress nicely or if they have a dress code, the code usually means polo-tee-shirts and school chinos.

Trust me, if the preschool teacher dresses like a s**t, its not the school for you.

  4. anything casual and comfortable

  5. comfortable like jeans..

  6. I have a friend who is a preschool teacher and she wears mostly slacks and a blouse or sweater. It makes it easy for her get down on the floor or run after them. Hope this helps!

  7. Something casual and comfortable that doesn't show too much flesh. There is nothing worse than seeing a teacher bend over and her butt hang out!

Also, covered shoes are a pretty big occupational health and safety requirement.

  8. Anything presentable that you are not afraid to have bleach, vomit, runny noses or art supplies on! Preschool is fun, but it can be messy! Every day is different, but one thing is for sure- dress for comfort. A good preschool teacher gets on her knees, bends, and sits on the floor.

  9. Jeans and comfortable shoes(gym shoes).Preschool teachers normally only dress up if there is someone important visiting our classes(board members, state officials,etc.).You will be dealing with p**p,vomit, bleach, tears, finger paints, etc.

  10. anything comfortable, that is easy to move around in.

anything that is able to get a little messy.

  11. It depends on what the preschool you work for allows, however keep in mind you want to wear something comfortable, because you will probably be on the floor and playing with the children quite a bit throughout the day.  Also, wear something that is modest ans something you would not mind if you spill something on it and it permittly stains.

  12. Comfort and washable are the 2 words for what to wear in a pre-school.

It is not somewhere to wear posh clothes are heels, it is trainers and trousers!
