  1. surf, or head to australia.

  2. I'm going to answer the inverse of your question.  I skate and during the winter when the bowls and streets are full of ice, I snowboard and I also go where I can skate ice-free bowls and bomb clear hills.  Now just take my answer and invert it to get the answer to your question.

Yeah I might sound like a s*****k, but snowboarders do go where there is snow.  There are some carpet-like snow substitutes but it;s not the same.  They also engage in other board sports, like skateboarding, surfing or wakeboarding.

  3. lol... i was gonna say a pro boarder would probably go somewhere there was snow...sry

longboard or mountain board are like snowboarding

  4. Alot of pro snowboarders will be into skateboarding as its another board sport, but being a good skateboarder doesent make you a good snowboarder and visa versa as the technique and skills needed are different. There is no substitute for snowboarding, pro boarders will always go where the snow is.

  5. Skateboarding actually does help with snowboard skills, and snowboarding helps with skateboarding, because a lot of the techniques actually are the same.  Doing tricks on a skateboard is a lot harder then the same tricks on a snowboard, so if you can do them on a skateboard, you should be able to do them on a snowboard.  This especially is true with spinning and stuff.

Snowboarders either skate to keep up their skills or go somewhere there is snow.  The southern hemisphere has snow during our summer, and so does Mt. Hood.  Surfing and wakeboarding can also help.

You can also grab a truckload of snow from an ice rink and set up a rail.

I don't know why you say "don't say they go somewhere that has snow or skateboards."  Sorry, thats what people do.  They skate or go somewhere with snow.  There is no magic secret hidden way to up your freestyle skills.

  6. i suggest freeboarding!!

its like snowboarding on pavement.. that is their motto

type it into google and have a look

also i suggest mountainboarding, surfing, skateboarding, ect...

    : )

  7. Tape up your board edges, strap in and jump onto the tramp!

  8. play x-box and rely on muscle memory, experience  and natural talent to carry me to the next season.

I also run cross country, work out, swim, hang out at the beach, and drink alot. My job keeps me pretty busy anyway.

  9. well what u do is skateboard haha but u should work out some and i gusse get stronger

and those too things u said not to say is kinda te only things to say

  10. As mentioned above, Skateboarding, Surfing, and travelling to Snowboard are the big3.

Other popular cross-training activities in my area are:

    - mountain biking

    - mountain hiking / climbing

    - canoeing

    - swimming

Playing around on balance boards while you watch tv / drink beer is always fun.

But the most common one of all:  Partying!  (for me, May Long Weekend always signifies the "end of snowboard season" and the "begining of party season"
