  1. they spend time chipping driving and working on their short game shots like putting and short iron shots.

  2. I don't think any of them just start cold.  Most will do things to warm up, like stretching... and they'll spend a little time at the range just to stay loose -- but more to get a feel for how they're working the ball, not a swing overhaul like so many of us try!

More will spend their time on or around the putting green working on short game touch and feel to get a feel for how the greens are rolling, and make sure that their short game touch is on.

  3. when i went to the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Bay Hill, Fla.  they hit on the driving range for about 40 min. then putted for another 30-40 min. before teeing off on the first hole

  4. Driving Range and chipping range. Most use a practice round to test the course.

  5. they come out about an hour before their tee time (time varies) - they'll start at the driving range then go to the putting green before heading to the first tee

  6. They warm up on the range for at least 1/2 hour some almost an hour, then hit the practice putting green for another 15 to 20 minutes.

  7. drink beer
