what do doctors do for broken knuckles????

my knuckles are broken i think and im going to the ER soon i think.... um i wanted to know wat they do for broken knuckles????

You seriously need to have this checked out. If anything go to your school nurse. They'll give you advice on what to do. Don't delay on this....Basketball will be starting before long and you need those knuckles!

I'm not sure why you're still at home protecting your father when he should be protecting you from your mother.  If you're still in that present situation, go immediately to your nearest walk in clinic and report what happened to the doctor.  Trust me, the medical staff take these things every seriously and will file a report with the police department.  Even if your knuckle injury has nothing to do with your present situation, you still need to get out of there before something bad happens.

As far as the broken knuckles...they may take an x-ray.  Otherwise, they will fit you with a form fitting hand immobilizer and wrap it up with an ace wrap.  Don't waste any more time, go to your nearest walk in clinic.  Good luck.
