What do shipping charges depend on?

I wanna buy some Xbox stuff off of the internet (particularly gamestop's website) and i want to know what shipping charges depend on..stuff like tax,S&H,etc..

I need to know so i can have my money all organized for when i go to buy it. Thanks.

Shipping costs involve distance from the warehouse to your house, the method of shipping (air?  ground?  parcel post?), and the type of shipper used (Fed Ex?  UPS?  USPS?).  The faster/further, the more it costs.

Handling is the cost for them to physically pull the Xbox off the shelf and package it up.  Personally, I think that's just a hidden charge...a way for them to make a few more bucks off you.

You won't know how much S&H is going to cost you until you actually go to buy it.

usually shipping depends on weight  tax is usually around ten percent but no tax on shipping just the sales tax.
