Please actually watch the testimonies before you make your reply, and keep in mind that a Congressional Hearing has been denied them and swept under the rug, many times.

Government conspiracy theorists love UFOs. Of course they're not going to get a congressional hearing. Think if every wacky organization was entitled to waste the congress' time. That's all I really have to say about that.

I have seen it.  I am not impressed with anecdotal evidence because I don't know the people giving the testimony.  I have met many seemingly-normal people who have some real crackpot ideas.  These people could be among them.

Comparing the world of the paranormal (with it's total lack of evidence) with the development of mechanical devices (i.e. airplanes, telephones) is intellectually dishonest.  One group followed evidence with experiments and development while the other group begins with the conclusion and seeks evidence to support it.

I didn't see any testimonies, but I would like to point out that testimonial evidence is in no way scientific proof.

Honestly, I dont see anything here that is skeptical or believers. Its just a bunch of people who want to sell books and stuff by making themselves appear important, and as if they are dealing with goverment officials on this stuff.

I highly doubt that the people who are running this project even believe in UFOs and aliens and such.

Skeptics have derided or ignored many pioneers of science and technology at the time of their greatest discoveries. It is only later that they have become elevated to the status of heroes.Alexander Graham Bell ?A completely idiotic idea,;

You might imagine that such  intolerance was historical only and that in today's enlightened, educated world no scientist would behave in such an intolerant way. Some areas of scientific research are so sensitive and so jealously guarded by conventional science that anyone who dares to dabble in them -- or even  to debate them in public -- is likely to bring down condemnation from the scientific establishment on their head, and risk being derided, ridiculed or even called insane

Normal science texts are dishonest to the extent that they hide the huge mistakes made by the scientific community, and the acts of intellectual suppression directed at the researchers by colleagues.

Well, I'm sure that the skeptics would say that these testimonies aren't proof either. Unless these UFOs are directly interfering with your present life, you really needn't concern yourself with the disclosure. Just accept that they may exist and go on with your life. To me this is just as pointless as the conspiracy arguments or Gods existence. I watched this video about a year ago and wasn't really impressed with it then either. I think I've heard enough about it most of my life now so that it really doesn't interest me so much anymore. If it is true than we'll get our disclosure eventually anyway. Right now the real enemy is the corporate oil companies and their bed fellows.

As is typical of skeptics (let's call them what they are debunkers) I noticed that the previous posters couldn't be bothered to look at any evidence that might contradict their beliefs. Scientist are skeptical of all evidence while debunkers refuse to look at evidence.

As for wasting the time of congress. Health care is still a huge concern, social security needs some work, the budget could use some work and what I see is endless debate on g*y marriage. I think the congress does a great job wasting time on it's own and if the public wants the congress to look into UFO's (or anything else) it's the US citizens (the voters) time to waste not the congress's.

I think the ideas of disclosure are well intentioned enough but even if one area of government decided to be open about any subject another area of government would keep that information from the public. This has long been the case with NASA a supposedly civilian organization that is under constant military observation.

our goverment corrupt. noooooooo. say it ain't so. of course they know about ufo's. and yes they are working with them. but hysteria and the goverments need for total control is what keeps the truth hidden.

The UFO Curse:  No matter how long you live you will never know any more about UFOs than you know today. You will never know any more about what UFOs really are, or where they come from. You will never know any more about what the U.S. Government really knows about UFOs than you know today. As you lie on your own death-bed, you will be as mystified about UFOs as you are today.
