How do they feed the kids?

1 girl about 200 pounds

4 boys very tall and big around 225 pounds

Seriously, I don't think they eat fast food. They are educated and wealthy family.

  1. Really some kids are just built bigger.  The males in my dads side of the family are just bigger.  They eat healthy and workout but they are built like football players and very large and sturdy built i guess you could say.  The woman on my grandmas side most of them have thyroid problems that cause them to be bigger built no matter what they eat.

  6. Usually wealthy kids don't get alot of exercise. Since they have everything at home theres no need to go outside.

    EDIT: Then the boys are suppose to be fatter if they play football. Thats common sense.

Honestly what is the rationale behind your question there are countless reasons anyone does anything.  Bottom line is your kids are your treasure, when they are hungry you feed them, when they are naked you clothe them and when they are tired you give them a place to lay their heads...what's the mystery?  Funny question but theirs the answer I think you've been looking for, right?  Best of luck to you.

  8. First of all, know the facts.  Obesity amongst kids is becoming epidemic and a number one health concern in the U.S. and Canada.

    Secondly, are you talking about your own kids?  If you are, why wouldn't you know if they're eating fast food?  Do you eat together as a family?  On a regular basis?  Do they snack a lot?  Are you up to date on nutrition?  If some are football players try talking to the coach to get some ideas about exercise and nutrition.  200 pounds for the girl is serious and she faces the potential of heart failure and diabetes to mention just a few issues.  If the family is wealthy then consider enrolling her into Jenny Craig or other diet program.  The sooner the better.  Obviously, as parents you metabolize at a different rate.  Depending on the positions the guys play, being on the heavy side may be beneficial from a coaches point of view.  But pro ball players can be obese and in great shape physically as far as the cardio-vascular go.  I don't think the same can be said about kids playing at the high school level.

    As far as what you feed them goes:

    -stay away from the snack foods

    -eat plenty of fruits and veggies

    - drink lots of water daily

    - keep foods rich in fat to a minimum

  9. They probably have a ton of junk food, and the kids dont have to ask for a snack or wait for a meal, they can just eat whenever.

  10. How old are these kids?

    If the boys are tall and athletic, a lot of the weight could be muscle.
