What do students at UC Berkeley do for fun???

Question

I got into both UCLA and Berkely but I SIRed to UCLA because I liked the campus better, location, the weather, and the fact that there is so much to do there. There is Westwood, the beach, santa monica, lots of theme parks like disneyland, six flags, knott's, universal studios, then you have hollywood, beverly hills, and bel air all around or withen an easy drive of campus.

At Berkeley all there is is the bay and san francisco and lots of bums on campus and people in trees. It's too hippi up there for me and I don't like the clouded weather.

So what do students at berkely do in there free time? Study???

I think you might find the site www.theu.com very helpful. You can search for UCB and many other colleges. You should watch  the "campus tour" videos. I think they are quite helpful. There are many topic to chose from to watch.

um. i'm not going to lie, alot of the student body smokes pot.

but your right, there is the bay area, sonoma, and santa cruz within a reasonable driving range. if your like me and don't like smoking, but rather going out and having fun, UCB is not for you.
