What do students do while using file folder games?

Question

Those of you who use file folder games in your classroom, do you have your students write down their answers or do you just have them play?

I'm trying them out using centers this year, and I'm not sure the best way to set it up.

I've used the games in the past, and students just play them for practice. Most file folder games are self correcting so students are practicing and getting immediate feedback.
