If there are little ankle high ripples, I ride my longboard. If there are no ripples, I bait a hook and see what's for dinner. If the weather is real bad (and for me, that's got to be REAL bad) I just do what everybody else does, like Kim_Dude said.  Just out of curiosity, what do you think we do?  We do have jobs and houses and cars and things like that. We don't all live in the beach in the Big Kahunas beach shack.

Probably whatever every body else does that doesn't surf.

read surfing magazines and watch surfing movies

mate i go graffiting/drinkin and watch the weather channel and just wait 4 the swell...its called the carm b4 the storm good things come to thoes who wait...then the surf is on surf its froffin and no1 out the way i like it over head and 6ft+ wooooooh hoooooooo :)

If the swell has at least a ripple, I go out with a longer board. The only time weather is a factor is if it's lightening, or just too windy. I play video games, watch TV, or go to YA.

John- I actually don't have a job. I took early retirement. And I do live near the beach. I guess I got lucky.

longboard (on wheels) play pingpong, video games, eat, hangout, watch surf films, swim, sleep. thats what I do
