What do swim diapers absorb?

Do the baby swimming diapers absorb their urine?? I k now they don't absorb water so that makes me think they don't get the urine either..

the outer layer which usualy has the pattern on is an non absorbant material so it keeps out the water and on the inside there is an absorbant material .

They only hold in the p**p. So, when you are out of the pool be careful as t he pee will go right through the swim diaper.
