  1. fish

  2. whales.

  3. Well, I hear they LOVE lettuce. Boil the lettuce for 10 to 15 minutes and then drain it. Chop it up a little, and then you can lay it on a tray to freeze it. For average home ponds, use an icecube tray- 1 cube every couple of days should be enough. For smaller tanks, just lay some flat on a tray and freeze it, and keep it in a baggie in the freezer. Give the tadpoles a pinch every few days.

  4. bread crumbs

  5. Tadpoles start out eating their own yolk sacks. Once that's exhausted they are completely vegetarian, eating algae, plants and other microscopic things in the water. Some say it's sufficient to just keep adding fresh pond water to get more microbes in; fresh live pond plants may be suitable too (especially if they come with their own coating of algae).

When their back legs emerge, within a short period of time they turn into complete carnivores. They will indeed eat each other if not enough microbes/insects/other small animals are in the water.

They quite like mincemeat, but don't leave uneaten bits as it may poison the water.

Tadpoles or frog spawn eat a variety of foods tadpoles have been known to eat foods like lettuce, fish food, egg yolk and even baby cereal.

    hope this helps you......
